Steel spool used for Battery Foil Production

Last year, we supplied 400 steel spools for a pioneering project, which is also an important battery foil production facility in China. This company produces the highest quality cathode foil for EV batteries, with a production capacity of 42,000 tons per year.

The battery foil needs to be rolled and slit down to extremely thin specifications, and must be wound onto steel spools for annealing and packaging. Therefore, the mechanical properties of steel spools must  meet  the corresponding requirements.
