GW Precision at ALUMINIUM 2026 Düsseldorf
2026-10-26 08:30Connecting global aluminium rolling lines through precision machining
GW Precision supplies spare and consumable parts for non-ferrous metal rolling equipment, including steel spools and roll chocks, and has long maintained technical communication with customers in Europe and worldwide through trade shows. At ALUMINIUM 2026, the company presented core components such as steel spools for aluminium coils and roll chocks—primarily to follow up on existing customers' needs while meeting new aluminium rolling mills and equipment suppliers. Today, GW Precision products serve aluminium rolling lines in 30 countries.
Precision components on display
Limited by booth space, this year's exhibit used scaled models of components such as steel spools for aluminium coils and roll chocks that serve coil winding and roll systems, helping visitors understand their structure and application at a glance. Around these components, GW Precision applies surface-strengthening processes such as laser metallurgical remelting to help customers reduce impact damage and extend component life in real working conditions.
On-site exchanges: from booth to production line
During the show, the GW Precision team held practical discussions with technical staff from aluminium rolling mills and equipment suppliers on material, heat treatment, surface strengthening and acceptance control of components, and received inquiries from new customers. What matters more to us is not how good the specifications look on paper, but whether these precision components run reliably on the customer's actual aluminium rolling line after delivery.
Sustainability and the circular economy start with how we manufacture
In GW Precision's view, precision machining is itself aligned with sustainability and the circular economy: longer component life means fewer replacements and less waste, and more stable machining accuracy means lower scrap rates. Beyond new-part manufacturing, GW Precision also provides repair and remanufacturing services for components such as steel spools and cones, restoring parts that show surface impact or wear in service to extend their service life and avoid whole-unit scrapping—a concrete form of the circular economy at the component level. We insist on "manufacturing based on understanding the application," aiming to let basic components such as spools and chocks require one less repair and one less stop in real aluminium rolling conditions, supporting customers' cost and efficiency goals with reliability and longevity.
Closing
ALUMINIUM 2026 has concluded. GW Precision will continue to engage with aluminium rolling mills worldwide around precision components such as steel spools for aluminium coils and roll chocks. We thank the customers and partners who visited Booth 5M24 during the show, and look forward to further exchanges.
